Lisaa is a 2019 Indian Tamil stereoscopic horror film written and directed by Raju Viswanath on his directorial debut. The film stars Anjali, Sam Jones and Makarand Deshpande. (in his Tamil debut). This film is India's first ever stereoscopic 3D horror film. This film is a uncredited remake from The Visit. Storyplot: Lisaa plans a trip to the Western Ghats with her friend Jagadeesh to get her grandparents’ approval for her single mother’s second marriage, hoping her mother won’t be alone when she leaves for the US. However, upon arriving, Lisaa and Jagadeesh notice strange behavior from her supposed grandparents, suspecting they might be ghosts. In reality, the couple are deranged impostors who have taken the place of Lisaa's real grandparents. The truth unravels when the fake grandfather chases Lisaa with the intent to kill, but she is saved by her real grandmother, Sharada. The police later arrest the impostor, who reveals he kills disrespectful children out of vengeance for his own son's disobedience. The impostors had found Lisaa’s real grandparents dead and assumed their identity after being evicted from an old age home.
