Hey guys, after almost five years and having finished Silksong, I thought it would be a good idea to revisit one of my old reviews before dedicating a video to the sequel. Now, besides comparing the gameplay of both games and a few other aspects, I can also say that I understand the lore much better, and I'll use this video to explain it in more detail to pave the way for playing Silksong. Although it's clearly a bit inferior in terms of gameplay compared to Hornet's story, the original Hollow Knight has aged incredibly well and still seems to me to be one of the best-crafted gems in the entire indie industry. If there's anyone who hasn't played it yet, I don't know what they're waiting for.
