The "Listening & Understanding Music Theory" series is about not just dealing with unrelated paper theory, but also understanding music theory through listening. In this video I have transferred the traditional spring song "All birds are already there" by Hoffmann von Fallersleben in addition to the major scale or the Ionic mode in the Dorian, Phrygian, Lydian, Mixolydian, Aeolian and Locrian modes to give you the characteristic timbres of the to bring individual modes (also called church scales, scales or church modes) closer. By the way, the timbre of the modes can be classified from light to dark, from the lightest mode Lydian to Ionian, Mixolydian, Dorian, Aeolian, Phrygian to the darkest mode Locrian.
