Dirk Nowitzki's Funny & Best Moments

Who doesn't love Dirk Nowitzki? His championship run with the Mavs in 2011 has to be the most impressive of at least the last decade in my opinion. With some very solid role and team players he and the Mavs took down the first real super team in the Miami Heat. Yes, to me they are the first real super team because rather than being constructed by the franchise, 3 top 10 players at the time came together (Lebron, Chris Bosh, and Dwayne Wade) and basically played the system in order to team up on the same team. And if you say Chris Bosh wasn't a top 10 player before coming to Miami you are being ignorant and more than likely didn't watch the NBA during that time or you are choosing to only think of Bosh's career with Lebron rather than his career on Toronto before he joined the Heat. Anyway, back to Dirk. I remember watching that 2011 Finals and being blown away with just how unstoppable of a force Dirk was. Other players like Jason Terry and company certainly contributed but Dirk did the heavy lifting. I have included some of his highlights from the series in this video. I only picked highlights from Dirks own "flu game" and on because I think it was important to highlight how he responded to not only being down 2-1 in the series, but to being terribly sick and then being made fun of by Dwayne Wade and Lebron for it which clearly was a lack of respect on their part. I have also included that clip in this highlight as well. As a kid, I just thought Dirk was different because he was from another country and didn't think he had much of a personality. While I was right about him being different, I couldn't have been more wrong about his personality.
