British Mum Reacts To The Gold Coast - Is It Worth The Hype? We took my British mum to explore the Gold Coast for the very first time, from breakfast at one of the most loved bakeries in Burleigh Heads to seeing Surfers Paradise in all its glory. We started the morning at The Paddock Bakery for coffee and pastries before taking her to Burleigh Beach and the Burleigh High Street to explore the local shops and coastal vibe.
