HOW TO MAKE STOVETOP POPCORN (no butter or oil) + 3 delicious topping recipes

My instagram account:   / veganleonora   To make the oil free and butter free base popcorn recipe you'll need 35gr popcorn kernels (so about half of the bottom of the bottom of the pan is covered with one layer of kernels). Heat up a pan on low heat for about 3 minutes, then add your popcorn kernels and add the lid to the pan. Shake the pan every 30 seconds to prevent burning. You could also add butter or oil to this if you find that easier but it is not necessary After a few minutes you will start to see the popcorn pop, keep on shaking the pan every 30 seconds and be patient. After most of the popcorn is popped and there is a few seconds in between each pop, turn of the heat and leave the pan with the lid on for 1 more minute so the remaining kernels can pop. That's it! You can eat your popcorn with some salt, powdered sugar or melted chocolate or use one of the following recipes. This recipe makes about 30gr popped popcorn. Salted caramel popcorn 70gr granulated vegan sugar 35ml water 1 tbsp (15gr) vegan butter 1/2tsp baking soda 1tsp salt 30gr popped popcorn Add the sugar and the water in a pan and turn the heat to medium heat. Don't stir or the sugar will start to crystallize and your caramel will be ruined! The sugar will turn into caramel by itself. The water will start to bubble and you'll see the sugar dissolving. Eventually it will start to change colour and turn into caramel. Once it has a dark amber colour the caramel is done and you can turn the heat off. Add the butter and mix. Lastly add the baking soda and salt and mix again. Add this to your popcorn and mix. Work fast because the caramel will harden quickly. Also be very careful because the caramel gets extremely hot and can burn you very badly. Let the caramel cool completely and then break it apart a bit with your hands. Enjoy! Cinnamon roll popcorn 70gr vegan butter 20gr brown vegan sugar 1tsp cinnamon 1/2tsp baking soda 40gr chopped pecans 30gr popped popcorn Melt the butter in a pan and add the brown sugar and cinnamon to it. Let this simmer on low heat for a few minutes until it slightly thickens. Add the baking soda and mix. Add this to your popcorn and also add the chopped pecans. Mix everything and that's it! You can spread this out on a baking tray to let it harden a bit if you want. You could also add melted white chocolate on top if you want but I found mine sweet enough. Enjoy! Salty spicy popcorn 30gr popped popcorn 1 1/2tbsp olive oil 1/2tsp salt 1/2tsp cumin 1tsp cayenne pepper 1/2tsp black pepper 2tsp paprika powder Add the oil and the herbs to your popcorn and mix. If you don't like the taste of olive oil you could also add some sunflower oil instead. You can adjust this recipe completely to your likings: add any herbs that you like and as much or as little of the spicy cayenne pepper as you want. Enjoy!
