End of the Most Unprofessional Motorcycle Trip Around Europe

So we're done it. We made it around Europe to Dunkirk, Calais and back to old England. That was our route, more or less: Southampton - Cherbourg - Nantes - Bordeaux - Pamplona - Burgos - Merida - Seville - Gibraltar - Zafarraya - Valencia - Barcelona - Gap - French Alps - Turin - Verona - Venezia - Kranjska Gora - High Alps - through the middle of Austria - Slavonice - through the middle of Czech Republic - Bystrzyca Kłodzka - Kraków - Wrocław - East Germany - West Germany - Koln - Netherlands - Antwerp - Dunkirk - Calais - and Chesterfield, where we live now. We rode on two cat. A1 motorcycles: Yamaha MT-125 and Honda CBR-125. We changed oil 3 times. We spent 3 months on the trip sleeping in tents, huts, hostels, underground bunkers or very cozy houses. We've been in 12 different countries and met countless people. We did not have any "adventure" stuff for our bikes. No fairings, no professional recording equipment. We did not buy breakdown or health insurance. We used open helmets and half the time we rode without "proper" motorcycle gear. It was just too hot. We took a risk where it was worth it, we avoided risk where it was stupid. We never took a motorway and never rode faster than 95 km/h (60 mph). It was a challenge. It was difficult. It was slightly irresponsible. It was awesome. Stuff of legend, if only our own private, little legend. It was incredibly satisfying, because it was so unprofessional. I did what I could to edit this unprofessional, random footage to make it fun to watch. If you enjoyed it, I'm glad. Thanks for your time! It was my hope to inspire some of you to just go for it. To live a happy, unprofessional life. Without trying to impress anyone, you know. So, if you have questions or need a bit of advice, go ahead, ask away. I'm always happy to talk. It's a chance to meet new friends too!
