4K | TRIP REPORT | SAS [SAS Go] CRJ-900 | OSL-ARN-BLQ | SK864 & SK2693

Join me on this SAS trip from Oslo to Bologna via Stockholm on board two CRJ-900s, for a total of 4 hours on a CRJ. During our stopover at Arlanda, a visit is also paid to the new SAS Lounge by Mastercard, located at the F-pier of the airport's Terminal 5. Overall, aside from a slight delay and slow service on board the second flight, this wasn't a bad trip with SAS at all. Friendly crew on both flights, tasty snacks from the BoB menu, and a great engine view from seat 24A! I also rather liked the SAS Lounge by Mastercard, with its nice interior, quiet atmosphere and improved food & beverage offerings compared to other SAS lounges I've been to. Furthermore, I think SAS charges a pretty reasonable price for lounge access (at least as long as you book it online), not to mention that it can also be paid with points - however, do note that for paid access, the lounge can only be entered from up to 3 hours before the scheduled departure time. The only thing is that the lounge in question was a bit smaller than I expected, though with that said, SAS has since merged its Gold and regular lounges into one, so it'll be interesting to see how this plays out as well as how the passenger feedback will be like! One tip when flying the CRJ-900 is to consider avoiding the last row on the starboard side, as pre-2010 CRJs (including the ones flown on today) tend to have a missing window here. Also note that, as of October 1, 2025, SAS Go is known as simply "Economy", coinciding with the reintroduction of a proper Business Class product on SAS' short-haul flights.
