High church lutheran vespers 1

Vespers in the cathedral of Uppsala on 29th August 2009, Memorial day of the Beheading of S:t John the Baptist, with Arbetsgemenskapen kyrklig förnyelse, Swedish Church Union (High church/catholic renewal movement within the Church of Sweden). Processional and the evening hymn Det ringer till vila (lyrics J.O. Wallin, archbishop in the 19th century), also called The Järvsö hymn. In the green cape at the end of the processional is Bo Brander, priest and confessor for Societas Sanctæ Birgittæ (SSB). The taller of the bishops is The Right Reverend Geoffrey Rowell, third bishop of Gibraltar, diocese in Europe (Church of England), the other one is The Right Reverend Biörn Fjärstedt, bishop emeritus of the diocese of Visby, Church of Sweden.
