Sun Fast 32 Accelerate Solo Spinnaker windward drop (how - to)

Hi all, This is an how to windward drop the spinnaker in light winds. step 1: while spinnakersailing: important step! check and cleanup all the sheets and hallyards!! this is verry important for an smooth drop and sail. step 2: unfurl or hoist the jib. and steer around 160 degrees. step 3: trim spinnaker to ''self fly mode'' and remove spinnaker pole. step 4: pickup the windward spinnakersheet and drop the leeward sheet (fast) so all pressure of the spinnaker is lost. step 5: pull the windward sheet (fast) and try to grab the center of the spinnaker, pulling from centre will help avoiding the spinnaker catch some wind. step 6: when in control, ease the spinnaker hallyard and pull as fast as you can. (the first part you can slip the hallyard by hand, when in control and fast enough, let go the hallyard complete) step 7: turn in or round mark, trim mainsail and jib to correct course, and enjoy your new course. good luck!
