MTA Bus: 2002 MCI D4500 2910 Startup

Seen here is a 2002 MCI D4500 2910 on Union Turnpike and Little Neck Parkway starting up, I asked the driver to start up the bus so I can get it on video. I have recorded buses started up but never a D4500! I was really lucky this day! I rode 2910 on the QM5 from Union Turnpike and Little Neck Parkway to 188th Street & 64th Avenue and check those videos out! By the time this video is being uploaded, there are currently around 14 MCI D4500s left in service on MTA property and they operate out of College Point, Eastchester and Yukon depots, catch the D4500s ASAP! The 2021 Prevost X3-45s are currently being delivered and will be replacing all remaining D4500s and D4500CLs. The D4500s are the final buses operating in NYC to have flipdot destination signs and Detroit Diesel engines. 2002 Motor Coach Industries D4500 Commuter Coach 2910 Details: Manufacturer: Motor Coach Industries [ MCI ] Model Number: D4500 Bus Series: MCI D-Series Length: 45 Feet Width: 102 Inches Height: 11 Feet Floor: High Floor Destination Sign: Luminator MAX300 Flipdot Operator: MTA Bus Former Operator: MTA NYCT Engine: Detroit Diesel Series 60 Transmission: Allison B500R Depot: College Point Fuel: Diesel License Plate: AY6285 Model Year: 2002 Year Built: 2002 Are you new here?
