Anritsu Webinar: PIM Testing DAS - Which Frequency Band Should You Use?
Neutral host Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS) operate over a wide frequency range in order to accommodate as many users as possible. The antennas and RF power distribution network are typically designed to pass signals between 698 to 2700 MHz, and sometimes wider. A question that often arises is, "If the DAS is broad band, which frequency option PIM test set should I use to verify DAS performance?" This presentation addresses this question with data collected using 700 MHz, 850 MHz, 1900 MHz and 2600 MHz PIM test equipment. Understanding these results will help operators optimize their DAS test procedure to maximize in-building performance. Presenter: Tom Bell, Sr. Product Manager, Anritsu What you will learn: Factors that impact PIM generation in a DAS network. Which PIM test frequencies should be used to certify DAS performance.
