Honda WN7 Review Is Honda's Electric Naked Bike Ready for the Middleweight Fight? As a Gen X kid who's always had a soft spot for innovation, I went into this review of the Honda WN7 wanting it to be brilliant. And in some ways, it is. Honda made a bold call putting an electric bike straight into the ruthless middleweight naked category, going toe-to-toe with the Suzuki GSX-8R and Triumph Speed Triple 765. That takes guts. The acceleration is genuinely Tesla-like. instant, effortless, and the kind of thing that turns heads. But take it out in the twisties with mates on those petrol rivals and you'll get dropped fast, both in the corners and on range. I only squeezed 60 miles out of it before limping back to the dealership. As much as I wanted to fall in love with this bike, the tech just isn't there yet. But make no mistake, electric is the future of some motorbikes, and the WN7 is an important first step.
