I spoil this GARBAGE screenwriting book so you don't have to read it. Save the Cat!
Save the Cat! by Blake Snyder is a junk screenwriting manual. For so many reasons. Just a lot of gimmicky bullcrap marketed to newbies who don't yet know the difference. Stop buying it. Stop promoting it. Stop pretending it has any useful knowledge that is not better found in other sources. And if you have already read it, try to blot it from your memory. That will help you immensely as a writer. Subscribe for more on movie storycraft and narrative theory. The GOOD stuff.
