Over the past few weeks, we've redesigned and landscaped our new test site, the Schilcherleitn. This is the most elaborate, modern, and intensive robotic lawnmower test site on the market. From flat, winding allotments to woodland and uneven terrain, including slopes of up to 100%, we can test here. But first, the ground has to be right. We've shaped the hill and prepared it with topsoil. A professional irrigation system from Toro is already in place. This high-quality system, with its precisely planned irrigation zones, is incomparable to DIY devices from brands like Gardena. Our partners at Fertigrasen Zehetbauer have provided us with two types of turf to test different soil types. After laying and intensive irrigation, we'll soon be ready for the first test. We'll demonstrate along the canal how easy it is to install turf and how quickly any damage can be repaired. The next robotic lawnmower test is already in preparation. The Kress Eye Pilot 4x4 will compete against the Rockmow Z130, the Ambrogio 4WD, and the Luba 3. We're very excited to see what it can do on the steep slope. These new all-wheel-drive robotic lawnmowers all use GPS RTK, and some also have an additional camera. We'll keep you updated on how the comparisons go. ...
