DEFINE YOUR TARGET AUDIENCE Something very important you need to know about Instagram is that there is a lot of competition. This means that, even though your ideal client is likely present in the tool, they need to know that your account is specifically designed with them in mind. Let's go to ChatGPT and ask for a list of pain points, concerns, or problems for that client profile. Use the following prompt: “Imagine you're a marketing professional. You work in a personal training and nutrition plan business, targeting working mothers between 25 and 45 years old who don't have time to exercise or take care of themselves. Give me a list of 10 pain points (objections, thoughts my client might have) that I could use to sell my personal training and nutrition plan services.” 📅 2. DEFINE YOUR CONTENT PILLARS Your content pillars are the general themes that, as the name suggests, will underpin your brand or business's content strategy. All the content you create will revolve around these pillars. We will use the following prompt: “Based on these pain points of my ideal client, I need you to establish what the 5 content pillars of my Instagram account would be. By pillars, I don't mean specific content, but rather broad categories for each of which we will later define several specific pieces of content.” 📅 3. DEFINE YOUR OBJECTIVES The clearest objectives that apply to almost any type of business are: ● Educate ● Entertain ● Inspire ● Sell 📅 4. DETERMINE IF IT WILL BE MACRO-CONTENT OR MICRO-CONTENT When thinking about specific pieces of content, there is something we have to keep in mind: the type of content we are going to create. I like to differentiate between two main types of content: Macro-content and Micro-content. 📅 5. DEFINE EACH PIECE OF CONTENT We're going to use artificial intelligence to define each piece of content we'll create. We'll use the following prompt: “For each content pillar, I need you to give me four ideas for creating specific pieces of content. Present them in a table: the first column will refer to the content pillar they belong to, the second column will be the title or content idea, the third column will be the objective* of the content, and the fourth column will be the format**. *The objectives I've defined include: educating, entertaining, inspiring, and selling. **The formats I've determined are: macro-content (long videos, tutorials, sequential posts, or Instagram carousels) and micro-content (shorter videos, photos, infographics, memes).” You can repeat this prompt as many times as you like, or if you see that there's an objective that the first table doesn't adequately cover, you can ask for specific ideas for that objective. Use this prompt: "I see that none of the content ideas have the objective of selling. Here's some context: I offer a personalized nutrition consulting service, and I also have a personal training service that we can do via video conference or in person. Create another list of ideas for the objective of selling, following the structure of the previous table." 6.
