Key Notes: Gold Badge Requirement: 2,300 Points The only way to reach these high scores is to consistently blow groups of enemies. For Arwing-only levels, you must strike groups down to get extra points. Whenever you see a squad of enemies together, that's your chance to get more points. For this level, during the first section's last portion, you will have to take down a drone fighter. If you do it quickly (preferably with charged shots), some strange harmless targets will fly into view. You can score a lot of +10 hits if you can mow them down quickly (preferably with laser shots). Due to Namco's involvement, they set up a whole lot of S-Flags (from that racing game Ridge Racer, I think) hidden in each mission. Here is the list for this one: 1) After Falco drops you a bomb gift, there will be one last destroyable ship. To the right of the blue core, you can strike down a part of it to reveal the flag. 2) Once you reach the planet's surface, after crossing the rock arch, there will be a path to the left with some hidden enemies. The second tank has a flag. 3) Once you move ahead and Falco is suddenly attacked, you will enter a thick forest. Shoot the branches to the left early and you will uncover another flag. 4) You will reach a base deep inside, where a forked train track will come together in the middle. When you fly in the center of the structure, you must then take a left and squeeze through the middle to find a white container with the flag behind the pillar. 5) Very shortly after the fourth flag, fly to the upper-right and strike the white container on the ledge for the last flag. Watch, enjoy, and comment, everyone. Boss: Deranged Nephew Andrew Oikonny You did fight Andross before, right? This is just an easier, robotic version of that fight. Just blow up the blue crystals on the palms whenever they are in sight. Boss: Evil Space Butterfly But THEN comes the real enemy of the fight. As soon as the fight starts, shoot down the eight wings. The second phase involves having to dodge a rain of rocks, though you can strike its weak point on its mouth when it opens it in the background (you have to steer your ship up and risk getting struck while dodging). It also opens its mouth when it charges a tractor beam from its tail.
