🎬 Married... with Children is one of those comedies that doesn't demand too much from the audience: simple plots, but with a good hook; absurd humor, a touch of dark humor, and a healthy dose of satire. All of this is supported by a cast that perfectly understood their characters, with such a well-oiled dynamic that everything worked seamlessly on screen. Understanding this, we couldn't ask the series for exaggerated realism. After all… it's fiction. But despite this, there are episodes so bad that they break with the series' internal logic. Episodes that completely deviate from its own established formula. And that's where it falls apart. Because many of these episodes aren't just far-fetched… they're also, in several cases, quite weak.
