2017 Nissan Pathfinder UNBOXING Review - An Off-Road SUV Alternative?

For our latest unboxing review, we had the chance to sample the refreshed 2017 Nissan Pathfinder before it goes on sale in the fall of 2016. For those of you who know your Pathfinder history, it first launched 30 years ago and back then was a two-door SUV. Today, however, it's become a three-row crossover. The fourth-generation Pathfinder was previously criticized for looking too much like a minivan. Well, that's because it did, and fortunately Nissan heard the complaints and made the necessary styling changes. It also made its V6 engine more powerful while retaining the same excellent fuel economy numbers from last year's version. Impressive. Along with best-in-class towing, the 2017 Pathfinder also offers on-demand all-wheel drive. With that in mind, can this updated Pathfinder now be considered an alternative to a truck-based SUV?
