A Short History of Raiding in World of Warcraft

What is a raid? Well it is difficult to say, is it an instance that has more then 5 players? Well no because some dungeons like the upper blackrock spire were dungeons, but had more then 5 players… are they instances with a week long cooldown? Well no, because mythic dungeons have a weeklong cooldown, and some raids of the past have had cooldowns of only 3 and a half days… Well what we would call a raid would be a place that has 10+ people, and a lockout of multiple days.
