【沙巴神山之旅】神山 Day 1！6 公里爬到半山 Laban Rata｜Mt. Kinabalu Day 1: The Climb to Laban Rata

神山之旅，承載著我的離家與返鄉故事。 沙巴，是我三歲以前生活過的地方。雖然早已沒有任何記憶，但離開馬來西亞到台灣二十年後，我想用一個特別的方式回家，於是想起了這個人生最開始的地方。 如果想要牢牢記住一個地方，也許最好的方法，就是在那裡完成一件一輩子都忘不了的事。而這一天，我們正式啟程了。 這天的神山對我們很好。沒有下雨，偶爾露臉的陽光，配上雲霧繚繞的山林，彷彿置身人間仙境。對幾乎沒有登山經驗的我來說，這是一段很美好的開始。 一路上雖然辛苦，但我們三個人都很快樂。一起經歷挑戰建立起來的革命情感，格外珍貴。也收穫了沿路滿滿的善意和陌生人的友情，原來，爬山也可以跟跑步一樣有趣。 抵達半山山屋後，真正的挑戰才正要開始。 跟著我的鏡頭，一起看看美麗的神山吧！ ⸻ This Mount Kinabalu journey carries a story of leaving home—and finding my way back. Sabah was the place where I spent the first three years of my life. Although I have no memories of it, after living in Taiwan for twenty years, I wanted to return home in a way that felt truly meaningful. That was when I thought of Mount Kinabalu, the place where my story began. I believe the best way to remember a place is to create an unforgettable memory there. And this was the day our journey officially began. Mount Kinabalu was kind to us. There was no rain, just occasional sunshine, with mist drifting through the forest like something out of a dream. For someone with very little hiking experience, it couldn’t have been a better first day. The climb was tough, but the three of us enjoyed every step. Going through the challenge together created a special bond, and along the way we were met with so much kindness and friendship from complete strangers. It reminded me that hiking, just like running, has a wonderful way of bringing people together. By the time we reached Laban Rata Mountain Hut, we knew the real challenge was still waiting for us the next day. Come along and experience the beauty of Mount Kinabalu through my journey.
