Welsh and Gaulish compared
Gaulish and Welsh are closely related languages. Can Welsh speakers understand Gaulish? Here is a look at how close these two languages are. Gaulish was spoken in Gaul (France, Switzerland and Belgium) from about 600 B.C. to about 600 A.D. Both are Celtic Languages and evolved out of the P-Celtic branch, forming Gaulish and Brythonic (from which Welsh came) - this video has a good look at these two's vocabulary, some of the history and lightly touches on the grammar.
