The concert was recorded November 2, 2017 and broadcast by the Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation on December 28, the next month as a Christmastime concert. Aurora wishes that the program both inspires the joy of the Christmas season as well as provides solace to those who may feel down at this time of year, acknowledging that “it’s okay to feel the way they feel, too;” and that “It’s important that we tolerate both of these feelings during Christmas.” We present our reaction at the time of St. Lucy’s Day (December 13), the Scandinavian holiday of light and vision.
