Hotline 024: The Medley Update - No Cutscenes/Perfect Combo - Friday Night Funkin'

Mod Link: https://gamebanana.com/mods/373298 God, this mod was so big it took me an entire week to cover it (that wasn't the cause of me not uploading, just real life stuff heh)! But for real, this mod has so much good stuff on it, all the songs are really good, and I'm sure you guys have heard all the praise in the world for this mod! But I do have a few qualms, for first, the songs are just way too long, took me a whole 3 sessions to record all the songs and that's without missing any notes and having to restart, with the exception of the final song (a bit more on that later), and specially with the long songs and big amounts of time being spent not doing anything and watching the opponent sing (which it does a lot, and even steals your notes which is novel at first but gets boring later), the songs can feel like a drag. With the songs being so long, they end up blending all together, most of the Freeplay songs didn't really stick to me and I ended up forgetting about all of them but Overdrive, and on a related note, while it does let the musician be a lot more creative with music, I think Nikku not having her own voice and instead stealing other characters voices ends up making her not as memorable and not having as much of a personality as other characters do, you can tell a lot from a characters voice, like Whitty, Tabi and even Shaggy. My final complaint comes from a place of love, that being my favorite songs in the mod, Uncanny Valley and Astral Projection, it just feels awful to play with the arrows separated like that, I get why, but I think it could've been executed better, specially Astral Projection which has an actual hard chart, you basically have to focus your eyes on the character on the middle that's moving around a whole lot and watching the notes in your peripheral, which I'm just saying, most people can't do. Regardless, this is amazing, and just a demo.
