This event, which began last year, brings pottery markets, which previously were held in various locations, to Toki City on the same day, allowing visitors to enjoy the entire city. There were so many things to see that it was hard to decide where to go, but this time we started at Donburi Kaikan, which I missed last year, and visited Kaneko Kohyo Pottery in Shimoishi, Ceratopia Toki, the venue for the pottery hunt market, and the Oribe Hills Pottery Market in Minoyaki Danchi, which is close to my kitchen. While there is a shuttle bus, there is ample free parking at each venue, making it easy to get around by car. There are plenty of festival prices, you can enjoy a variety of Mino ware all at once, and there are plenty of events, so I think this is an event that families can enjoy. This year, the weather was particularly bad around this time of year, especially on weekends, which was unfortunate, but the fact that many of the pottery hunt venues were indoors meant that people could enjoy it safely.
