In today's episode of the Hill of Faith series, we continue advancing in another important stage of the construction of our project to build a property FROM SCRATCH. Before finishing the wood-burning stove, I took the opportunity to catch up on some pending tasks on the property, such as planting the sugarcane seedlings, applying protective oil to the cattle grid wood, and cleaning the water tanks. With everything underway, it was time to install the chimney pipes and make the long-awaited first fire in the stove. An important moment to check if the combustion and exhaust system would work correctly and if the smoke would be drawn in as expected. And as if that wasn't enough, we also had an incredible surprise during the tangerine harvest. More than 15 kilos of fruit were harvested directly from the property, showing that Hill of Faith can reward us for all the effort invested over the past few months. And get ready for the next episodes, which will feature rustic food cooked on the stove and the beginning of the expansion of the Ranchinho.
