Nationale Volksarmee vs. Bundeswehr - Eine etwas andere Betrachtung

On October 2, 1990, at midnight, the other German army, the National People's Army of the GDR, was dissolved without the use of force. Its remnants were absorbed into the other German army, the Bundeswehr. Afterwards, the two very different armies were repeatedly compared, and unfortunately, the question—which I consider obscene—was sometimes asked: who would have been superior in combat against each other? This analysis, however, goes a step further and attempts, within the limited time available, to place the "what if" scenario between NATO and the Warsaw Pact in a historical context, considering the likely surprising consequences that actually occurred.
