Well, after being laughed at in Korean retro video game stores for asking about old games, I finally managed to grab a few copies of Pump It Up Fusion for the PC (In fact, I think there are 4 or 5 versions all in all - The games were released around 1999-2001 by Mega & Game). The production back then was pretty quick as they dropped two arcade versions in 1999 and the first PC game the same year! On one of the many CDs I bought, there were some videos of the first ever Pump It Up Tournament/Event called: Pump It Up Grand Festival The video features the very first Pump It Up Festival: Event: 1st Pump It Up Festival Date: January 29, 2000 Location: Jangchung Gymnasium (장충체육관) I ran through up Namsan Mountain in Seoul last week and the Jangchung Gymnasium is still there, which was really cool to see!
