This Stotram praises the magnificent and majestic form of Lord Shiva and the power of the five sacred syllables, NA (earth) MA (water) SHI (fire) VA (air) YA (ether/sky). This dance depicts Lord Shiva as the manifestation of the Pancha Bhoota, the five prime elements of nature - earth, water, fire, air and ether. Lord Shiva is the one who adorns the King of Snakes as his garland, the one with three eyes, and whose body is smeared with sacred ashes. Panchakshari, the path to eternal bliss.
