BAARN naar AMERSFOORT, etappe 8 van Utrechtpad/Streekpad3 (in omgekeerde richting)

We leave Baarn via places with an Eastern sound to view the River Eem. We can cross it at the A1 motorway. We take a wrong turn once, then we go the right way but that turns out to be wrong too, and then we head back in the first direction, which turns out to be the right one. Via polder roads, we arrive at the long Grebbelinie dike along the Eem. Near Amersfoort, we view a total of three beautiful old city gates before arriving at the city's heaviest natural stone.
