Hurricane Ian - Intercept Mission 7

Intercept Mission 7 - The Ian Mission was the most dramatic mission to date. Ian was an incredibly powerful Category 4 hurricane that struck southwest Florida and made landfall at the exact same location as Hurricane Charley 18 years earlier. The Ian Mission took place in North Port, Florida, which had gusts of up to ~125 mph. Ian's post-landfall convective, hot tower burst enhanced the destructive winds and extreme rainfall over North Port.
