Jalur Kereta Api Rangkasbitung - Labuan, versi Google Earth

The Rangkasbitung-Labuan railway line was built by the Dutch East Indies government. It opened on June 18, 1906, and closed on January 1, 1984. Trains on this line were used, among other things, to transport fish from Labuan for sale in Jakarta, and vice versa, to transport salt from Tanah Abang for salted fish production in Labuan. As of July 25, 2019, the Directorate General of Railways (DJKA) officially began reactivating the Rangkasbitung-Pandeglang segment I. It is estimated that over 1,233 buildings along this line will be demolished due to the impact of the reactivation process. However, in July 2020, the Banten Provincial Transportation Agency confirmed that compensation payments for residents living on land owned by PT KAI and DJKA for reactivation were delayed due to the ongoing coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak in Indonesia, and the Jakarta and Banten Railway Engineering Center not yet signaling the start of construction. Line length: 56.6 km Gauge: 1,067 mm In this video, I show the condition of the track's density due to buildings and photos of bus stop/station buildings from various online sources.
