Since then, his older sister Fatou has been living with this tragedy that turned her life upside down. Adama Camara, a volunteer and former prisoner, meets those whose lives have been turned upside down by the fights between working-class neighborhoods. These young victims, grieving sisters and mothers, confide in the thirty-year-old because their experiences resonate strongly with the young activist's personal story. In 2011, his younger brother Sada was stabbed to death at the Garges-Sarcelles train station in Val d'Oise. Three years later, Adama Camara took revenge and shot the perpetrator's brother and his friends who were present. They were injured but escaped death. He was sentenced to eight years in prison for attempted murder. Now free, he leads grassroots efforts to combat violence in working-class neighborhoods.
