Weird Creative Constraints That Actually Improved My Art

I created custom album artwork for some of my favorite new music, but every single piece is dictated by a spin of the wheel. Each spin assigns a random creative constraint — scribble first, a two-minute time limit, use a photo, style swap, lyric-based design, or (thankfully) a skull. You get the idea. Some of these ended up way better than I expected. Some of them… did exactly what you’d expect when you give up free will to a colorful spinning circle. That’s kind of the point though. Dumb rules force you out of obvious solutions. You either find something new or crash into a wall. Both are useful.
