MY ROCK | Psalm 18 (KJV) | Celtic Rock Worship
THE ROCK | Psalm 18 (KJV) | Epic Celtic Rock Worship "The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer." — Psalm 18:2 (KJV) Psalm 18 is one of the most powerful victory songs in Scripture. Written by King David after the Lord delivered him from all his enemies and from the hand of Saul, this psalm is a triumphant declaration of God's power, protection, and faithfulness in the midst of battle. Set to an epic Celtic Rock sound filled with driving rhythms, soaring melodies, battle-ready drums, and ancient Celtic instruments, this song captures the intensity of David's testimony as he recounts the Lord's mighty deliverance. Throughout the psalm, David gives all glory to God for every victory: ⚔️ God prepared him for war: "He teacheth my hands to war, so that a bow of steel is broken by mine arms." — Psalm 18:34 ⚔️ God gave him strength for battle: "For thou hast girded me with strength unto the battle: thou hast subdued under me those that rose up against me." — Psalm 18:39 ⚔️ God granted victory over his enemies: "I have pursued mine enemies, and overtaken them: neither did I turn again till they were consumed." — Psalm 18:37 ⚔️ God Himself marched into battle: "Then the earth shook and trembled; the foundations also of the hills moved and were shaken, because he was wroth." — Psalm 18:7 Before David ever lifted a sword, the Lord arose. Mountains trembled. Thunder roared. Lightning scattered the enemy. The heavens bowed before the King of Kings. This is not merely a song about earthly warfare—it is a testimony that every victory belongs to God. He is our Rock, our Fortress, our Deliverer, and our Strength in every battle we face. May this song encourage you to trust the Lord in times of struggle, opposition, fear, and uncertainty. The same God who delivered David remains faithful today. Thank you for listening. Creating these songs and sharing God's Word through music has been a blessing to me, and I hope they have been a blessing to you as well.
