It's a major hub for airlines worldwide, so en route to resorts, you can stop in for a couple of days to explore this bustling, vibrant city, where the legacy of communism is particularly palpable. It's not exactly a tourist destination, but you can certainly spend time there, admiring the unique blend of European, Asian, and modern architecture.
