How Moving Abroad Changed my Confidence

I thought moving abroad would make me more confident. Instead, it completely destroyed my confidence at first. I moved to Italy without ever having been to Bologna before, struggled with the language, dealt with confusing bureaucracy, and spent a lot of time feeling overwhelmed, anxious, and honestly wondering, "What have I done?" But somewhere between getting lost, making mistakes, solo traveling, and building a life in another language, something slowly started to change. I didn't become fearless. I still get nervous. I still overthink things and embarrass myself sometimes. But I started trusting myself more. I learned that confidence isn't about never struggling or never making mistakes, it's about knowing you'll figure things out when you do. In this video, I'm sharing: ✈️ Why I moved abroad in the first place 🇮🇹 The ways living in Italy actually hurt my confidence at first 🌍 The experiences that slowly helped me trust myself more 💛 What moving abroad taught me about fear, resilience, and independence ✨ Why I feel more confident in my everyday life now than I ever did before If you've ever wanted to move abroad, start over, or do something that scares you, I hope this video reminds you that confidence usually comes after the hard thing, not before it. #LivingAbroad #MovingAbroad #ExpatLife #LifeInItaly
