Today, I don't watch soap operas anymore! But when I did, I hoped they would have the look of an American series. A movie, even! I so desperately wanted Brazilian series and films on TV in the 70s and 80s. I always rooted for national drama in cinema and on TV. Soap operas were what we had in abundance in national drama production, and movies, when there weren't many, were expensive to see. And movies on TV were even rarer! Today, one of the actresses who made me dream of all this has passed away. The possibility of doing everything on TV, in theater, and in film. Diction, timbre, posture... Everything made me idolize this actress! And she will forever! She was Ruth, Raquel (Mulheres de Areia), Jô (Barba Azul), Diná (A Viagem)! It doesn't matter the actor or the character! Each one with their own characteristics! But, for me, in those roles she will forever be EVA WILMA! I will love you forever as one loves Elis Regina!
