how to do it RIGHT! there are some factors to consider. a quick allU need to know guide for u mates, as its the nr1 otuning tip in the scene! but is it the best choice? tune in to learn more :) things not adressed in the video: opening transfers: is not really needed, its quite a hazzle, but u can of course. cylinder head: dont worry using a different piaggio one, if any then a cnc machined fully opening transfers due to longstroke (piston come 1.5mm lower) yes. but if u use wrong cyl timings and short intake timings, u wont have a wowh effect, a well done 57mm all factors set right, will perform better which crankshaft? mazzucchelli & sip (=primatist) with forged conrod are recommended. every crank shall be checked in detail though, see my guide. the 0:00 intro 0:08 otuning 60 1:17 60mm needed? 1:45 how2 do it better 2:17 is it worth it? 2:30 sport210 pnp 3:23 is it a race cyl? 3:57 dyno power curves 4:05 10 or 12hp cyl?! 4:10 !rotary valve tolerance! 6:37 intake timing 7:12 1.5 mm spacer ?! 7:36 cylinder timings 8:57 exhaust port 11:28 transfer ports 12:22 piston 13:01 skirt sandpapering 13:17 carb & casing adjusting 13:36 false air spots sandpapering 16:09 1,2,3 fuel supply 18:33 clutch strengthening 20:22 cnc clutch needed? 20:46 30mm carb needed? 21:21 crank flowing needed? 22:00 flywheel crank pressfit! 23:14 YELLOW! 23:43 stable ignition! 24:31 test ride otuning LIGHT 24:54 acceleration VS original 26:58 chitchat otuned world travellers further guides: 10 or 12hp cyl? • vespa 200: 10 or 12hp cylinder? otune 200 LIGHT • VESPA 200cc O-TUNING light | FMP-Solid PAS... otune 200 otune 125 #vespa #longstroke #otuning otuning LIGHT experience by owner, bike has a spark plug temperature sensor and supa tuna (lambda sensor 2rich/lean indicator): an experienced world traveller and motorbiker: 1300km (190628) "..bikes running well 0-80 is much much faster and smoother and CHT is cooler by 10-15c which is good. " "6.5 l/100 wot, 5.5 medium/fast, 4.5 medium/slow, No leaks etc" 4000km (190712) "engine is running like a top 😎, a good job it’s much nicer to ride than original and a lot easier to keep in tune too." 6500km (190724) "..it’s running well, flywheel has now slight movement, but very, very slight. This is at 6500km since rebuild now.." 9000km (190730) "At 51,000 total now and engine is same, no issues at all. still much easier to keep in tune than the stock set up. I think the stock engine is inefficient so it masks the jetting a bit. Sure really lean or rich is obvious but it’s hard to tell difference on hot of cold days or when there are small changes. With the o tuning I can set the jetting/mixture perfect on 30 degree day and leave it run a bit Rich (got down to 0) when it gets colder and not touch it at all! It’s just more obvious what the engine is doing now. Really haven’t touched it much for the last 5,000km. Which is nice." 17.000km (1911) in africa: 116 gps top speed "revs up to 7600 (original only 6600) same fuel consumption way more sensitive to jetting needs 5 sizes smaller mj in higher attitude than stock engine" after 40.000km (2021) review: "revs much smoother, easier and faster. Top speed reached faster, there is an extra 1,000 USABLE rpm. O tuned engine I shift at 6500 easy. Original at 5500 or it’s too strained. O tuned u can sit in third at 6500 all day up steep hills etc. engine also will over rev to 7600 no worries. original is strained at 6500 - big difference for downhill overtaking ;) Fuel consumption is the same: 4.5l at best (around town, low speed etc) 5.5l normal (village, 2nd roads etc) 6.5l flogging it hard (flat out-whole tank) this is for 2 up with 35kg gear (165kg total)" ___________________________________________ FOLLOW me on insta: @FreakMoPed fb: / freakmoped ___________________________________________ FMP playlists all needed SERVICING VESPA guides: • the ULTIMATE vespa SERVICE guides | FMP - ...
