Alain Ducasse au Plaza Athénée - Episode 4
This documentary series, filmed in 2004 over a six-month period, takes us on a journey through the history of Alain Ducasse's team at the Plaza Athénée Hotel, a famous Parisian palace located on Avenue Montaigne. In Paris, Monaco, New York, and throughout the world where his restaurants are located, Alain Ducasse develops his vision of the "contemporary chef." The only chef to have nine Michelin stars, he is also the only one to dare to assert that one can serve some of the finest cuisine without being constantly behind the stove. To achieve this, he relies on the skills of dedicated and experienced teams. From the end of summer to the grand finale on the evening of December 31st, this film brings us to the daily reality of a three-star restaurant through the stories of human journeys, all linked by a passion for cooking. A place where everyone works passionately for the pleasure of their guests.
