Wurtec’s Plumb Line Drop Tool and Rail Alignment Starter Kit are used to determine where the first pair of main elevator rails should be installed. The worker will position the preset Wurtec Drop Line Tool at the top of the hoist way. He will then drop two weighted Music Wires from the ends of the Drop Line Tool down the hoistway. He will then check the position of the music wire against the hoistway wall at each of the landings.
