World of Warcraft has been part of my life for more than half of it now. But for me, Azeroth was never just a game. There was a time in my life where everything felt like it was falling apart. My shoulder injury changed the way I trained, my brother moved away, a relationship ended, and my health changed forever after being diagnosed with ulcerative colitis. And through all of that, World of Warcraft gave me somewhere to go.
