Potato Harvest Using Landscape Fabric | Did it ruin my Soil?

Join us as we uncover the results of our first year using landscape fabric for growing potatoes. While the harvest was plentiful and we unearthed some impressive potatoes, we also made some concerning observations about the soil health. The soil felt barren and dry, with a noticeable absence of beneficial earthworms, which are crucial for a thriving garden. Despite these issues, the landscape fabric did reduce weeding, and we ended up with a great yield of potatoes.
