Centrifugation is the process that involves the use of the centrifugal force for the separation.It is used in industry as well as laboratory .The more dense components migrate away from the axis of centrifuge while the less dense components migrate towards the axis. At the bottom of the tube a pellet is formed and the remaining solution is the supernatant .
