Parte 4 — PROPÓSITO Há um ponto na vida cristã em que viver para si mesmo simplesmente deixa de fazer sentido. Pedro convoca os crentes a romper com os padrões do passado e a usar o tempo que resta para o que realmente importa. "Quem sofreu no corpo rompeu com o pecado e não vive mais o resto de sua vida terrena para satisfazer os desejos humanos, mas para fazer a vontade de Deus." (1 Pedro 4:1-2). O peregrino não desperdiça a jornada. Part 4 — PURPOSE There comes a point in the Christian life where living for yourself simply stops making sense. Peter calls believers to break from the patterns of the past and use the remaining time for what truly matters. "He who has suffered in his body is done with sin. As a result, they do not live the rest of their earthly lives for evil human desires, but rather for the will of God." (1 Peter 4:1-2).
