The Alchemist of the End. [Video Summary] PS5 version of Atelier Ryza 3 playthrough video, difficulty level: Very HARD At 32% progress, with zero walkthrough information, I spent about 50 hours mastering "alchemy" to see if I could conquer the final boss. I've already played all of the Ryza games, but I'm a newbie to the Atelier series, starting with Rorona. [Thoughts after 120 hours of play] A worthy culmination of the series. I personally like the open-world feel of the alchemy, which allows players to get into it even early on. The battle system is fun once you get used to the speed and mechanics; at first, it's a struggle to keep up. The story is good, but I was surprised to find myself reunited with Fee. My complaints are the map inconvenient, the poor access to Kara's Tent, and the lackluster key system in the latter half (perhaps because I played too much). After completing the game, I felt like I could have gone as far as carefully selecting super rare keys to defeat the rare bosses. [Summary] Atelier Ryza 3 tells the story of Ryza's journey from the end of her "youth" to her transition into "adulthood." It was a great game that gave me a sense of accomplishment from working hard on synthesis, and a sense of comfort and a slight sense of loneliness after the ending. If you've never played an Atelier game before and you particularly want to enjoy the story, it might be a good idea to start with "1."
