KLH 23 rebuild! (what I did this summer) classic speakers back to life!
In this video, I share the history and restoration of a legendary pair of loudspeakers: the KLH Model Twenty-Three, classics from the late 1960s designed under the influence of Henry Kloss. These acoustic suspension speakers, with a 10-inch woofer and a classic tweeter, became well-loved for their warm, balanced, and very musical sound. I walk you through the restoration process — from refinishing the cabinets to replacing the old crossover capacitors — and of course, we’ll talk about how they sound today compared to modern equipment. This is a journey back to the golden age of hi-fi that shows why it’s still worth saving these vintage gems. These are overdubbed videos from my main channel, "de audiofilos y locos".
