At the end of November, I visited a flea market in Onomichi, Hiroshima Pref Japan. This is a small town surrounded by mountains and the sea, but it is the starting and ending point of the Shimanami Kaido (Sea Route) that crosses over to Shikoku Island, and many foreigners visit this town on bicycle trips. The flea market was held in a square about a 30-second walk from Onomichi Station, at the entrance to the main shopping street. Besides those who came for the flea market, local elderly people also came to the flea market, giving it an at-home feeling.
