My Adenomyosis Story

Hello everyone, I have been holding on to this bit of information for such a long time, and I have been wanting to share my story and what I have gone through with this condition. It has been very hard on me, my partner, and my family to deal with this condition. It hurts so much and I spend most of my time laying in bed because of how much it hurts! But it feels so good to be able to open up about it and not bottle it up anymore! Adenomyosis is a condition that involves the encroachment, or movement, of the endometrial tissue that lines the uterus into the muscles of the uterus. This makes the uterine walls grow thicker. It may lead to heavy or longer-than-usual menstrual bleeding, as well as pain during your menstrual cycle. The exact cause of this condition is unknown. However, it’s associated with increased levels of estrogen. Adenomyosis usually disappears after menopause (12 months after a woman’s final menstrual period). This is when estrogen levels decline. I hope I can help some women out there who go on YouTube to find others who have encountered the same conditions they have. If you have any questions, please email me here: [email protected] Updated video on my health:    • Update On My Health | Good News!   *I am NOT a doctor, and I don't know how much of what I was told is true. But I am just sharing what I was told and the symptoms I had/have throughout the process. *
