Each invocation is an act of love towards the Cross and an offering for those who suffer far from the vision of God. 📌 It is particularly recommended: To free the suffering souls of purgatory As a prayer for the deceased As a Friday prayer to unite ourselves to the Passion of the Lord To obtain special graces through the intercession of Jesus Crucified 💡 WHY PRAY FOR THE SOULS IN PURGATORY? 🔥 The souls in Purgatory are saved souls, but still awaiting the beatific vision of God. They suffer because they ardently desire union with the Lord, but must first be purified. They cannot help themselves and depend on our prayers, sacrifices and Masses.
